The G-Cloud 12 framework launched on September 28th 2020, with an updated and expanded range of cloud solutions and services available to public sector organisations.
The UK Government’s G-Cloud is an initiative that helps organisations and public sector bodies adopt reliable cloud-based solutions and digital services.
The introduction of cloud technology has caused significant changes to the way IT is used and delivered. The UK Government initiated the G-Cloud programme to encourage public sector organisations to take advantage of cloud solutions and remove commercial barriers to IT moderation across the UK.
The framework allows public sector organisations to search for hosting suppliers, as well as cloud-based and digital technology services in the UK via the Digital Marketplace, helping them find and understand exactly which services they require.
The Digital Marketplace provides a comprehensive catalogue of cloud-based services, streamlining the purchasing process, with various solutions available with complete performance and specification breakdowns.
Our Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) platform, Azure Management service and Cloud Disaster Recovery solution, are the three key services now available via the Digital Marketplace on G-Cloud 12.
