Secura are excited to announce that we have been ranked as one of the top 20 UK cloud companies by panelists in Clearwater International’s Cloudex awards.
The awards are run by independent corporate finance house, Clearwater International, and are now in their 5th year.
This year’s awards will be held at The Blind Spot, in central London on Thursday 9th November, and will recognise innovative and emerging independently-owned cloud technology businesses in the UK.
An esteemed panel of industry experts review all the entries for the awards, selecting a top three from their final shortlist of 20, as well as a ‘One to Watch’ winner.
The awards ceremony is a great opportunity to network with the panel and cloud industry peers, while enjoying an evening of drinks and food!
This is the second time that Secura has made the top 20 of the Cloudex awards, with our first visit being in 2015. We did not make the top three on that occasion, but the Secura team had a great night at the awards. We have grown a tremendous amount as a business since then – could this year be our year?
Our successful shortlisting in these awards is fantastic recognition for the rapid growth and success Secura has experienced in 2016/2017, as well as our focus on continually innovating and evolving our technology and services to meet the emerging needs of ‘online first’ businesses.
In May this year, Secura launched Web Protect, a cutting edge, fully managed, enterprise grade solution to enhance the security of applications on the VPC platform, offering state-of-the-art protection for our customers’ critical websites and services.
The growth of these ‘online first’ businesses in the UK continues at an incredible pace, and Secura’s secure, scalable technology coupled with our dedicated service and support are a great fit to help specialist E-commerce, SaaS and Digital Agency businesses grow and thrive.
Secura CEO, Ollie Beaton, commented:
“We are delighted to have been shortlisted for the Cloudex awards for a second time. It’s fantastic to be recognised within the industry for what we have achieved so far and we look forward to attending the ceremony – hopefully this will be our year!”
We’ll update this post with results and pictures (win, lose or draw) following the awards ceremony on Thursday evening.
