The prestigious VMware Partner Recognition Awards will be taking place in May and we’re delighted to announce that Secura have been shortlisted for the VMware Cloud Partner of the Year 2019 award!
The ceremony, now into its ninth year, recognises partners across a range of different categories, who have contributed to VMware’s success and growth in FY19. Previous winners include the likes of AWS, IBM and Telefonica.
We missed out in the ‘Rising Star’ category at the awards in 2017 – so here’s hoping 2019 is our lucky year!
The Secura Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) uses a number of different VMware technologies to deliver secure, high performance cloud hosting and over the last year we’ve seen huge growth in the numbers of customers we have added to the platform.
We also launched our Cloud DR service built on VMware’s new vCloud Availability technology, which has been a huge success so far. Our engineers work really closely with the development team at VMware who in turn support us with their expertise in the deployment of new technologies, and the rapid adoption and delivery of the Cloud DR solution is a perfect example of this.
Our shortlisting in this year’s awards underlines the fantastic year that the Secura team has had in 2018/2019 and our growing status as a VMware cloud partner.

The winners will be announced at the annual Partner Recognition Dinner on Thursday 9th May 2019 at the swanky Curtain Hotel in London. The Secura team will be donning their tuxedos to enjoy an evening of socialising with peers, eating and responsible drinking.
