Secura are very pleased to welcome agricultural software provider, FarmWizard, to our Virtual Private Cloud platform.
FarmWizard has developed a range of cloud based software that allows farms to manage and record all of their livestock, milk production and supply chain from a secure web interface or mobile app.
Founded in 2004 by former information technology architect, Terry Canning, FarmWizard now supports over 1200 farmers worldwide, with users in the UK, North and South America and Africa.
In addition to day-to-day farm management, the FarmWizard Global Supplier Chain Manager application supports the vital relationship between farmers and global retailers with functionality that improves the visibility, traceability and performance monitoring of their livestock. It collects and organises data on animals at farms to collate livestock levels, weight performance, health statuses and feed control, giving the completely transparent, end-to-end accountability that is now so vital to modern supermarkets and their customers.
Secura will support FarmWizard’s range of applications with the secure scalability offered by our Virtual Private Cloud platform (VPC).
Their applications will benefit from resilient, high-performance infrastructure with the flexibility to scale their resources at any time to meet their growing demand. The VPC platform offers native backup and DR capabilities to secure FarmWizard application data against any loss and our Tier 3 + data centre adds a further layer of protection with rigorous physical security measures and ISO 27001 certified processes.
