Secura are pleased to announce that document management and automation specialists, Document Genetics, are the latest software as a service business to join the Virtual Private Cloud platform.
Document Genetics specialise in document and output management solutions – transforming data into documents and documents into structured data, in most cases without any changes required to their customer’s systems.
Document Genetics solutions are available on premise or via the cloud and improve document automation, workflow, collaboration and internal and external communication for over 400 customers across the UK, including Fowler Welch, Spar, Betterware and Morphy Richards.
The Document Genetics suite of solutions have helped countless businesses of all sizes automate crucial, time-consuming business processes, cutting costs and improving customer service, accuracy and data security.
Solutions like E-billing, electronic invoice processing and ERP document formatting allow businesses to process transactions quickly and accurately, securely store and share important information and rapidly deliver electronic documents to customers.
With over 400 customers relying on Document Genetics’ applications to perform critical business processes, a secure, robust hosting platform was essential to delivering a consistently high level of performance and service.
All services delivered from the Virtual Private Cloud benefit from high availability as standard and a platform that is architected with no single points of failure – offering Document Genetics the assurance that their application availability will deliver against the high service levels they agree with their customers.
The VPC is secure by design and delivered from multiple Tier 3+ data centre facilities based in the UK. All the data centres and Secura’s own data handling processes are ISO 27001 accredited. All vital business and customer data stored within the platform is frequently backed-up to a second, separate VPC data centre site and is available to Document Genetics for rapid restore in the event of any issues.
Provisioning new services on the VPC platform could not be more straightforward, taking hours rather than days and offering Document Genetics the flexibility to quickly commission new services, incrementally increasing their resources and hosting costs as they add additional customer revenue.
Secura CTO, Dan Nichols, commented:
Document Genetics have a proven track record of growth, a significant suite of successful applications and a loyal base of really satisfied customers. We believe that the VPC’s capabilities are a perfect for SaaS businesses and we’re delighted that a business of their standing have chosen the platform to underpin their cloud delivery.
