This June, five members of the Secura team will be walking 26 miles (mainly upwards) across the National Three Peaks to raise vital funds for London’s Air Ambulance charity.
Ollie, Ed, Dan Nichols, Neal and Sally will be taking on the challenge to climb the three highest mountains in England, Scotland and Wales – Scafell Pike, Ben Nevis and Snowdon, with a total ascent of over 9,800 feet, within a 24-hour period.
This week, the team got kitted out to make sure they’re prepared for the terrain and changeable weather conditions on the three peaks.
Heavy duty walking boots, waterproofs and warm layers are all needed to tackle this challenge – and the team wants to put themselves in the best possible position to succeed. Next up, fitness training and a trial walk!
Since announcing this challenge at the start of March, we have had amazing support, managing to raise over £3,000!
